"Every part of her distrusts what a family is, what intimacy is, what somebody loving you unconditionally is. She just, it doesn’t compute for her. Every part of her being wants to be that mother for Kira, but no part of her knows how to do it." - Tatiana Maslany

it’s well known that MOST of the clone club thinks that cosima is the hottest clone. as can be seen here and here and on countless other posts on cosima and yadda yadda. it has even been claimed that she is the best, and don’t get me started on that. while i understand that if you encountered cosima for the first time and you didn’t believe sexuality was a spectrum, you would once you saw her smile and flail her hands around. i think this also plays to cosima’s advantage. i always thought of her as a free spirit so she doesn’t care if she’s attracted to a man or a woman, she just goes with it. the fact that she could be with either, plays to both the sexes. i’m not saying that cosima isn’t hot, she definitely is, but i would just like to turn the attention to our dear sarah. (i realize that it’s ridiculous that i’m giving reasons for one character being more attractive than another when it’s all the same person, but lets not focus on that.)

let’s get the boob thing out of the way. the claim: cosima has bigger boobs than sarah.

Kira Manning + knowing her mother

"You don’t own us."

Ok, ok I guess I want to say something about this.

I think it’s not Alison, because I don’t see any evidence of bangs being pinned back, and her posture is all wrong.

Since it’s at DYAD, I think there’s a good argument towards it being Sarah or Cosima.

Cosima as Sarah, since Sarah is the one who had first contact with Rachel. The make-up is very distracting. In the last frame, I think that the posture is all Cosima, BUT Sarah is super expressive with her whole body, soooo it could just be an awkward still.  As for the hair, it could be the “locs” recently removed.

I think Sarah as Cosima is more likely.  It’s a costume.  She wanted to have the loose appearance of Cosima’s “locs” because they’re so iconic to Cosima.  The nose ring and make-up are costume.  Cosima is closely affiliated to DYAD and has an open invitation to go there, so it would be easiest for Sarah to slip in that way.  Hostility and gun use also point to Sarah.  Rachel knows that Sarah will be looking for her.

But mostly…

I have no effing idea!

WHAT DOES IT MEAN HOLY CRAP. MY BRAIN IS TOO EXCITED TO CREATE THEORIES.

THIS IS A LINE FROM SONG OF MYSELF BY WALT WHITMAN.

I’M NOT CRYING YOU’RE CRYING. SEND HELP.

Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)

Literally the entire poem is relevant to the themes. Everyone should go read it. FFS the first line is:

"I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.”
